I'm Surya, most often found somewhere between a dark sky and a lit city, waiting to create the photograph that shares the wonder and invites you to be part of the moment.
I am most drawn to Spectacle,
but the kind the world makes on its own.
A sky on fire at sunrise. A city doubling itself in still water. Fireworks over a bridge. Auroras that make you feel genuinely small. I'm drawn to scale, to light doing something extraordinary, to the energy of places when they're fully alive. A festival, a market, a crowd gathered around something that matters to them. I like when the grandeur of a place hits you all at once and you have no choice but to stop.
